    NOTE

    • Includes bibliographical references.
• This book presents the results of the theoretical-critical reflection and graphic experiments developed within the second edition of the International Workshop "Visuality", on the rep-resentation of the contemporary city. The main objective of the Workshop, entitled "An idea of Drawing, an idea of City. The figures of urban space" was to reflect, between theory and practice, on the formative values of drawing in relation to the "reading" and "writing" of the urban space, also considering the procedural and semantic implications implemented by the integrated use of analogical and digital representation techniques.
    • Workshop partner was Gabriele Pierluisi, professor at the École nationale supérieure d'architecture in Versailles (France). The event was divided into a conference and a subsequent project reflection activity carried out according to laboratory methods. The disciplinary breadth of the theme favored the participation of students from the three Master's Degrees (Archi-tecture, Product and Event Design, Landscape Design) of the dipartimento Architettura e Design of the Università di Genova, as well as that of the students of the Doctorate in Architecture and Design.
